Food Program
Child Care Connections is a sponsor of the Child and Adult Care Food Program that reimburses providers for part of the cost of nutritious meals served to children in child care. Please click on "Food Program" above for more information.
How to Become a Registered/Licensed Child Care Provider
Child Care Connections offers assistance to individuals who are interested in becoming registered or licensed with the State of Montana to care for children. Please click on the link above for more information. Those wishing to apply to become a Legally Certified Provider or a Legally Certified In Home Provider can download the application from the Family Connections Montana website:http://familyconnectionsmt.org/contact The application is also available through our office at 1600 Ellis Street, Bozeman, Montana, but must be returned to Family Connections Montana, 220 2nd Avenue South, Suite 201, Great Falls, Montana 59405.
All Child Care Connections trainings are free of charge for Legally Certified Providers.

Special Needs Subsidy Program
The state of Montana seeks to increase access to child care services for children with disabilities. The Montana Special Needs Subsidy Program provides supplemental child care to help families and child care providers meet realistic costs of individualized care. Applicants who do not meet any of the levels of priority listed below, can still apply and may receive grant funds if funding allows. Priorities for mini-grants are outlined below:
1. Partner child care providers in the Family Care Network
2. Registration/Licensing
New providers who have recently become registered/licensed. (Must be in business under one year).
Facilities that need to meet licensing compliance issues such as funds needed for a fence, egress windows, play equipment, etc. CCC will further prioritize any facility that has been referred to CCC for Technical Assistance by QAD for licensing violations.
3. Upgrade of cribs in child care facilities to meet new safety standards
4. Act of Nature Emergencies Example may include structural damage/replacing equipment due to flooding.
Lending Libraries
Child Care Connections has a large lending library for both children and adults. All the books can be picked up at our office. See below for alist of books with descriptions and images.
